A steel wall bracket for connecting a 100×100 mm timber beam through approximately 100 mm of external insulation to the load-bearing wall behind it.

Installation requirements

The bracket must transfer load to the structural wall, not to the insulation or façade finish. Anchor type, embedment depth and edge distances must be selected for the actual wall material. Any cut insulation and penetrations must be restored and sealed using a suitable façade detail. The bracket does not by itself guarantee the absence of a thermal bridge or water ingress.
