Legal guarantee for consumers
Consumers in the European Union have a minimum two-year legal guarantee for conformity, starting from delivery of the goods. If a product is defective or does not correspond to the agreed description, the consumer may use the remedies provided by applicable consumer law without additional cost. These statutory rights are not limited by the commercial warranty below.
LuxShade commercial warranty
LuxShade provides a 12-month commercial warranty against manufacturing defects in metal connectors. The commercial warranty applies from the date of delivery and does not replace or reduce the consumer's statutory rights.
What the commercial warranty covers
- Manufacturing defects in the metal component
- Defective welding attributable to production
- Material or coating defects present at delivery
What the commercial warranty does not cover
- Incorrect assembly, unsuitable foundations or anchoring
- Use with incompatible timber dimensions or unsuitable fasteners
- Unauthorized modification, cutting, drilling or welding of the product
- Mechanical damage during transport by the customer, storage or installation
- Normal wear, damage to the coating after impact, misuse or lack of maintenance
- Damage caused by loads, wind, snow, soil conditions or a roof system that has not been checked for the specific site
Exclusions from the commercial warranty do not remove any mandatory legal rights relating to a lack of conformity that existed at delivery.
How to submit a claim
Email luxshadebulgaria@gmail.com with the order number, product identification, a description of the problem and clear photos. Keep the product and proof of purchase until the claim has been reviewed.
When a claim is accepted, the appropriate remedy will be provided in accordance with the applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
Important structural note
LuxShade connectors simplify assembly but do not replace project-specific structural assessment. The customer or installer is responsible for checking the foundation, anchoring, timber, spans, roof covering and local wind, snow and construction requirements. For large, roofed or exposed structures, consult a qualified specialist.
